About Mold Remediation Fort Lauderdale Florida

Mold Remediation Fort Lauderdale Florida is a water, storm and mold restoration business based at 708 SE 32nd St #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. The address is a few blocks from the New River, in a part of the city where houses have been taking water from storms, tides and old plumbing for a very long time. That is the work we do: getting a building dry, removing what cannot be saved, and documenting the process so the next conversation — with an insurer, a landlord, an association or a contractor — starts from evidence.

What we do, and what we do not do

There are three services on this site, and the list is deliberately short. Water restoration covers water extraction and water repair: standing water removed, saturated material taken out, the structure dried and the repairs inside our scope completed. Storm damage covers wind and rain intrusion after a storm, and it includes water leak detection, because after a storm the leak is rarely where the stain is. Mold remediation covers containment, removal of affected material and correction of the moisture source.

What we do not do matters just as much. We are not plumbers, roofers, electricians, glaziers or general contractors. When a supply line has failed, a roof is open, a window no longer seals or a room needs rebuilding, we identify the component, dry what can be dried and hand the repair to the trade that owns it. We put that hand-off in writing rather than leaving it implied.

How a job is run

Every job starts with a call in which we ask what is wet, where the water came from and whether it is still running. That conversation decides what to shut off, what to keep clear and whether the visit is urgent. On site we read the affected rooms with meters, scan concealed areas with a thermal camera where the wall or ceiling is suspect, and compare each reading with a dry reference of the same material. The reading points are marked by room and location so the same spot can be checked again.

From there the sequence is consistent. Stop the source where that is possible and safe. Remove standing water. Remove material that is saturated or contaminated and cannot be dried. Set air movers, dehumidifiers and cavity drying against the readings. Monitor daily, adjust rather than wait, and compare the final numbers with day one. At hand-back you get the photographs, the moisture log and a written list of what remains for another trade.

We do not promise a cosmetic result. Drying is designed to stop structural damage, not to restore a finish. Terrazzo can stain, hardwood can cup, tile can delaminate and a cabinet toe kick can swell even when the box is saved. Where a material is likely to show damage, we say so before we start drying it.

Where we work

We work in Fort Lauderdale and eight Broward County cities: Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Dania Beach, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Hollywood and Plantation. All are within about seven miles of the address above, and each area page explains the local housing, drainage and storm details that change how a job is scoped.

The range of building stock across that radius is the reason we read each property rather than following a script. A 1940s cottage east of Federal Highway with stucco over block and terrazzo floors does not dry like a 1960s ranch in Lauderhill with a low-pitch roof and a carport, and a barrier-island building in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea does not dry like a canal-front house in Plantation. Different assemblies, different failure paths, different timelines.

What this site does not claim

We do not publish a contractor licence number, trade certifications, insurance certificates, a founding year, staff biographies, project counts or customer reviews. None of those are facts this business has given us to state, so they are absent rather than invented. If a licence, certification or insurance detail matters to your decision — and for some owners it should — ask on the call and we will tell you what currently applies.

We also do not publish prices, price ranges or response-time promises. A scope depends on what is actually wet, how long it has been wet and what has to come out, and none of that can be known from a phone description. The scope is written after the assessment, before work begins.

How to reach us

Call (954) 707-5047. If nobody answers, leave the address, the source of the water, the rooms affected and a callback number, and say whether water is still running. Hours are confirmed on the call rather than published here, because we would rather tell you what is actually available than print a promise we cannot keep. The contact page has the address, the phone number and the questions we ask first.

  • Written scope before any work starts
  • Moisture readings recorded at marked points and repeated at hand-back
  • Photographs and a moisture log organised for your insurer
  • Containment and HEPA filtration where growth is present
  • A written hand-off to the plumber, roofer or contractor who owns the repair
